Sign X PDF
Sign and edit PDFs privately in your browser
Sign X PDF lets you add a visible signature and perform common PDF operations directly in your browser. Your PDF is processed on your device rather than uploaded to Sign X PDF servers. No account is required. When you finish, download the updated file to your device.
Your PDF is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Sign X PDF servers. Ordinary website assets (HTML, scripts, fonts) still load from the network as on any website.
What this tool does
Choose a focused tool for signing, merging, compressing, reordering pages, or deleting pages. Each tool page explains the workflow and loads the editor only when you use it.
How to use it
- Pick a tool such as Sign PDF or Merge PDF.
- Open your file with the on-page file picker (or drag and drop where offered).
- Complete the edits in your browser.
- Download the result to your device.
How local processing works
After the app assets load, file reading, rendering, and export use browser APIs and client-side libraries. The selected PDF is not posted to Sign X PDF application servers for processing.
Limitations
- A modern browser with JavaScript is required for editing.
- Very large PDFs may be slower on low-memory devices.
- Local processing does not protect against malware on your device or malicious browser extensions.
